Introduction

‘’Waaaaaa!’’wailed baby Emma.Julian turned around.’’Shut up you stupid baby!’’he screamed.Anne, Ella, Dick, Jack and mum were watching the commotion from the door.They were also very sad.Grandpa died three days ago.Jack, who was four, was named after grandpa.Julian and Anne were twins.They were ten years old.Dick was eight.Ella was twelve.Emma was 2 years old.

Mystery Of Grandpa’s Death

‘’Julian, Julian, calm down.Emma is just a baby.’’reminded Ella.She was the big sis of the family.Then an idea struck Ella.’’Meet me in my room at 7:00pm.’’she said.When all the children were there, Ella spilt out everything she was planning.How she was willing to solve the mystery that even the best police officers could not solve.’’Mum would not let us go.’’said Julian.’’We better go at night.’’he added.

First Night Outside

At 11:30pm, all five children went to grandpa’s house.They found some blood stains leading to the garden.Ella went to see where the stains were leading.Soon she came back shivering with excitement.’’Follow me.’’she whispered.She leaded the others to the garden shed.There, she pointed at something red and glittery.’’A blood stained knife!’’said Dick under his breath.’’Cool.’’

‘’But how did we not see it when we came here yesterday?’’asked Ella.’’I know!’’said Anne suddenly.’’What!’’said the other four.’’Well, I think the person mixed green food coloring with water.Then mix pepper and salt together.Then mix the green water with the pepper and salt to make it look like grass!’’said Anne.’’So, the person painted the blood stains with the grass like paint!’’concluded Ella.’’Correct.’’said Anne.

Man At Vellissatin Lake

In the morning the family went to Vellissatin Lake.The five children were allowed to wander around.While they were walking, an odd man was seen.Everything he was wearing was red.Red shirt, red pant, red socks, red shoes and a red cap.Even his hair was red.He walked on a stage.’’My name is Peter Johnson, and welcome to my show.’’The kids walked away in annoyance.

Second Night Outside

The kids left Jack as he was too sleepy.In return, they brought some of their cousins.Their names were,Mary, Colin, Zack, Elizabeth, Noah and Jenny.Mary was nine.Colin was eleven.Zack was nineteen.Elizabeth was fourteen.Noah was sixteen.Jenny was six.They all went to grandpa’s house.As soon as they arrived, a loud sound knocked them all out.Colin was the first to recover.He found himself in chains.By now everybody was awake.Suddenly Zack took a knife.He started to cut everyone’s chains.When everybody’s chains were cut, Zack urged them to his car.They drove to the police station.There they told everything that had happened.’’You go home now.’’said a police.’’We, can take care of it.’’And so everybody went home feeling sleepy.

The Exciting News

The next day everyone watched the news.’’Few days ago an old grandpa suddenly died.We found the suspect.His name is Peter Johnson.It is said he killed the grandpa because he loved red.He is getting arrested.’’Mum and dad went into tears.’’Well done children.’’said mum.’’This is important to us.’’The news went on.’’He wanted the grandpa’s blood because it was his favorite shade of red.’’ ‘’We should have a party for you children.’’said dad.’’Thanks dad!’’yelled the children.’’I wonder if we can solve more mysteries.’’said Dick.’’I bet we could!’’said Ella.
